3rd Sept. 2011 Dead fish crisis in SE China.

3rd Sept. 2011 A large amount of cultivated fish were found dead from unkown causes in recent days in the Minjiang River's Shuikou Township area of China. This is the largest aquaculture base in Fujian.

The floating dead fish, decaying in hot weather, have been polluting the river which is the main drinking water resource of the province. The cause is still under investigation.
